Board of Directors – Executive Board

Richard Bowman – President

 

Howard Fraga – Past President
Now retired, Howard was President and C.E.O. of North American operations of Sunshine  Biscuits, Inc.  Now a Past President, he served two terms as President of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, District Council of Sonoma County and is also a Past President of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at Cathedral of St. Eugene, Santa Rosa. Howard is Past President and current member of the Voluntary Auxiliary of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Lanny Marlatt – Vice President
Prior to his retirement, Lanny was a Manager for Longs Drug Stores for 35 years. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus (Council 9090) where he held the position of treasure for two years. He is currently serving on the Executive Board as Vice President of St. Vincent de Paul of Sonoma County. Lanny is also a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Rohnert Park, where he served on the parish council for two years.

Mark Moran – Treasurer
Presently in private practice, Mark has his CPA license, CA Real Estate brokers license, Professional Fiduciary license, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. Born and raised in Santa Rosa, he attended Cardinal Newman High School and St. Mary’s College of California. Mark and his wife Adrienne have two sons Max and Reed. Mark is Treasurer for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, District Council of Sonoma County.

LeRoy Halbur – Asst Treasurer
LeRoy is a retired CPA who worked for more than thirty years for Codding Enterprises. He and his wife Donna live outside Santa Rosa on an acreage where he keeps busy with lots of gardening and landscaping. LeRoy has been a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society for 35 years and is also currently president of Resurrection Parish Conference.

Evelyn Estrella – Secretary
Evelyn Estrella, the current Secretary for the Sonoma County SVdP Executive Board has been a Vincentian since the 1980’s. As a long-time parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Rohnert Park, she has served on the Parish Council and as the SVdP Conference President. In addition to a life-long commitment to volunteering, she has been married for 49 years, has 9 children and 15 grandchildren.

Jack Macy – Member at Large
A member of the Executive Board for the past five years, Jack has been active with the Holy Spirit Conference since 2005. He has helped with weekly food distribution and was coordinator of the Home Visitation program for three years.

Jack served his Parish as a Eucharistic Minister, Choir member, CEP teacher, Finance Council member and Chair, and  Men’s club officer.  In addition, he led the effort to resolve the Diocese financial problems and chaired the recently completed parking lot and plaza project.

A 43 year resident of Santa Rosa, Jack is a retired civil Engineer who was in private practice for 40 years.  He received his Engineering degree degree from Santa Clara University.

His professional associations include Board Member and Chairman of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma County Alliance Board, Board and Hall of Fame member of the North Coast Builders’ Exchange, President of the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors, President of the California Society of Professional Engineers, and California Junior Miss Hall of Fame.
