Support those in need in Sonoma County when you shop at the SVdP-Sonoma Thrift Store and score yourself some unique furniture, upcycling project finds, vintage and amazing collectibles.

SHOP WHERE YOUR PURCHASE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Best of all, unlike many other thrift-store chains, the merchandise you donate to or purchase at our Thrift Store has a direct benefit to your neighbors in need. One-hundred percent of our store profits are fed back into the Dining Room and our programs, providing much-needed support to families and individuals who are suffering in Sonoma County.

Much to the delight of our more fortunate customers, we also serve as a ‘secret source’ of one of a kind collectibles, unique furniture and vintage clothing.

Our thrift store staff is proud of the contribution their work makes to our community and passionate about delivering the utmost in upbeat customer care. We are interested, caring and dedicated to providing you service that is....

”...it seems like every time I’ve ever stopped in at random (to the SVDP Thrift Store), I’ve come away with some great finds. A few years ago I blundered in on a sale day where I got a bunch of great “higher end“ shirts for 25 cents each. Another time it was a trove of cargo pants and painters jeans that looked brand new for like 2 bucks each. This most recent trip they were clearing out a pile of old PC games for 25 cents each, among which were a couple I‘ve been wanting to get for a while.

..... And as if the prices weren‘t low enough already, veterans can go on Mondays for a 40% off your total (with your medical ID or even a Vets Advantage card, no need for DD214)”

SVDP-SONOMA THRIFT STORE - UPCYCLING HQ

Here is an incredible upcycled rug made by one of our customers, "Swiss." She not only uses wool skirts and coats from SVDP-Sonoma‘s thrift store, she also uses the yarn she finds. Isn't this rug gorgeous?

CLOTHING RECYCLING

Not all of the clothes donated to St. Vincent de Paul are of the quality that we maintain in our Thrift Store, but don’t worry, very little is discarded. We partner with Tiedemann Globe, which recycles 120,000 pounds of clothing every day by exporting used clothing and other items all over the world. Purchasing and reusing second hand clothing significantly reduces the severe toll placed on the environment through the production of new clothing.

ELECTRONICS  RECYCLING

Our many donors share our desire to responsibly dispose of electronics. To that end, we partner with ECS Refining – a specialist in responsible recycling and end-of- life services for electronics, industrial equipment and hazardous waste.

Using their proprietary methodology, ECS extracts the maximum value from your old, broken electronics while minimizing environmental impact. Consequently, fewer items go to the landfill – a good thing for the environment and all of us here in Sonoma County.

Note: Our Electronics Recycling Program accepts all TVs, monitors and computers – working or not!
